Limited Warranty

AirHead composting toilets are designed and manufactured for long-term, reliable use in marine, RV, and off-grid environments. This limited warranty outlines the coverage provided by Eos Design LLC.

1. Warranty Coverage

Eos Design LLC warrants that AirHead composting toilet products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase.

During this period, Eos Design LLC will, at its discretion:

• Repair the defective component, or
• Replace the defective component with a new or refurbished part

This warranty applies only to defects arising from normal use in accordance with the installation and operating instructions provided by Eos Design LLC.

2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects in materials
• Faults in workmanship
• Failure of components under normal, intended use

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation or failure to follow installation guidelines
• Failure to install required components, including but not limited to:
  • Ventilation (air system)
  • Insect screen
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modification
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by environmental factors, improper storage, or accidents
• Labour costs associated with installation, removal, or reinstallation

Failure to properly install all required components may void this warranty.

4. Electrical Components (Prorated Coverage)

Electrical components (including fans) are covered on a prorated basis after the first 12 months from the date of purchase.

Typical coverage includes:

• 0–12 months: Full replacement
• 12–24 months: Approximately 80% discount on replacement
• 24+ months: Approximately 60% discount on replacement

Exact replacement terms may vary depending on the component and usage.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

1. Contact Eos Design LLC to request authorization before returning any parts
2. Provide:
   • Proof of purchase
   • Description of the issue
   • Photographs of the product and installation (if requested)

Eos Design LLC may request additional information to assess installation and identify potential causes of failure.

6. Return & Inspection

• All warranty claims are subject to inspection
• The failed component must be returned to Eos Design LLC for evaluation
• Once received, Eos Design LLC will determine whether the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect

If approved, Eos Design LLC will:

• Repair or replace the component, or
• Issue a refund where appropriate

The decision to repair, replace, or refund is at the sole discretion of Eos Design LLC.

7. Sanitation Requirements for Returns

Due to the nature of the product:

• All components that have been in contact with waste must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before return

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in:

• Immediate disposal of the returned component
• No inspection or warranty consideration

No notification will be provided prior to disposal.

8. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Eos Design LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• This includes, but is not limited to, loss of use, inconvenience, or damage to other equipment

This warranty is limited strictly to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective components.

9. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

10. Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights depending on your country or state of purchase.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
