In our previous rig we installed the Nature's Head toilet, used it for 2 years and loved it for the most part. For us, the biggest issue was emptying the urine bucket every 2 days. When we sold that rig and bought our current truck camper, we weren't sure the Nature's Head would fit in the tight space so upon researching other options found the Air Head. The Tejo model was not yet on their website but after talking with Techs from Air Head, we were told about this option and thought it was perfect for our needs. We had to make a couple mods to get it installed, (shortening the crank handle and venting mods) but my husband's 'MacGyver skills' did the trick. What we love: NO urine bucket - game changer!; like the actual 'toilet seat'; no 'sliding' off the top portion of the toilet seat. It simply lifts straight up. A 'sliding' top would not have fit in our space. Our biggest challenge was the 'flange cap' or piece that sets into the flange on the floor did not seal tightly so we were getting a horrible urine smell in our rig. We talked about siliconing it in place, but we wanted to be able to remove it and clean it periodically so decided to go with good old duct tape and taped it down. This solved the urine odor problem, is not visible to the naked eye and can be easily removed for cleaning. The only other minor issue we're having is that the urine seems to drain slowly from the bowl into the tube. We've been on the road for 2 months now so it may simply need a good cleaning. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the Air Head Tejo! Also, the Techs at Air Head were great as we made many phone calls back and forth to determine if it would fit in our rig, how it would fit and to answer our many additional questions. They were very responsive to all of our calls/questions. This will be our RV toilet going forward, no matter what rig we end up in. It's one of the best mods we've made to date!
